For permanent wet wells
The pump can be lowered to a base connection and retrieved along the rails. Confirm the coupling base, rails, chain, pipe and valve arrangement.
QW is a submersible sewage pump series for duties where the liquid may contain suspended solids or fibrous material. Select the model based on the required flow, total dynamic head, wastewater, installation and electrical supply.
Request Pump SelectionThe Norite QW series is a wastewater submersible pump range that combines the motor and hydraulic section in one submerged unit. It is intended for wastewater containing suspended solids or fibrous material, subject to the selected hydraulic design and solids passage. QW is the general sewage-duty family; review QWS when cutting is required and QWX when higher head is the main constraint. The listed arrangements are fixed guide-rail, mobile and free-standing.
The four supplied views show the general QW construction. Outlet position, lifting arrangement and external details vary by model.

Use the series data for initial screening only. Confirm the available combination against the exact duty point and current model documents.

*These limits are not all available in one pump configuration. Final supply requires a model-specific datasheet and Q-H curve.

The supplied sectional drawing identifies the motor, bearings, shaft, oil chamber, double mechanical seal, impeller and pump casing. Sensors, probes, switches and cooling details can be configuration-specific.
Installation choice affects pipework, access, lifting, cable routing, operating levels and maintenance.

The pump can be lowered to a base connection and retrieved along the rails. Confirm the coupling base, rails, chain, pipe and valve arrangement.
Confirm the hose or pipe connection, base support, lifting method, power cable protection and stable operating position.
Check floor stability, minimum submergence, operating level, retrieval access and discharge routing.
Wastewater composition, solids, corrosion, temperature and site conditions determine whether a specific model is suitable.

View the QWX high-lift sewage pumpA supplied wastewater pumping project reference from Sluis, Netherlands.

The original station was reported to experience repeated blockage, high operating cost and frequent maintenance. The supplied project record states that a 40 HP non-clog submersible sewage pump replaced the old unit.
The marks below reproduce the certification display used elsewhere on this website. They do not independently verify that any specific QW model holds any of these approvals.

Provide enough detail to match the hydraulic duty, wastewater and installation.

The series is intended for sewage and wastewater that may contain suspended solids and fibrous material. Suitability depends on particle size, fibre length, solids concentration, grit, oils or grease, impeller and passage size.
No. The term describes a hydraulic design intended to reduce blockage risk in suitable sewage duties. It does not cover every rag, wipe, fibre, oversized solid or wet-well condition.
No. Those figures describe the series envelope. Flow, head, power, speed, discharge size, material and installation combinations vary by model.
The listed supply options are 380 V / 50 Hz and 400 V / 60 Hz. Confirm the exact voltage, frequency, phase and motor rating for the selected model.
A fixed guide-rail coupling suits permanent wet wells and simplifies retrieval. Mobile and free-standing arrangements suit temporary or less permanent installations.
Review QWS when the duty specifically requires a cutting mechanism. Review QWX when higher head is the main need. Compare the actual curves and wastewater requirements.
