Dowa-Dambo Irrigation engineering project

Working conditions/Challenges: The Dowa-Dambo irrigation project is an important part of Malawi’s national agricultural modernization strategy, aiming to alleviate agricultural risks brought about by drought, improve the production conditions of small-scale farmers, increase food production, and enhance the sustainable development capacity of communities.
The type of equipment adopted: We provided a complete set of pump systems, various valves and pipe fittings for the pumping station section of this project to ensure that the water source could be efficiently and stably transported to the irrigation area. In addition, we have also provided solar street lamps, photovoltaic brackets and safety fence systems as supporting facilities, which offer safety guarantees for the project operation and community travel, and also embody the concepts of green, environmental protection and sustainable development.
